Traveling by bus or train

Our house is situated on opposite roadside of Saarlouis Hauptbahnhof / Main Station.
Usually there is a train-frequency of at least half-hourly intervals on the route Saarbrücken-Trier.

The bus station Saarlouis Hauptbahnhof is just a few steps away from our house. Busses of Regionalbus Saar-Westpfalz GmbH (RSW) and Kreisverkehrsbetriebe Saarlouis (KVS) are stopping there.
A bus ride to the city centre (ZOB Kleiner Markt) takes about 9 minutes and costs 1,70 €* for an adult. The bus frequency is at least 10 minutes, often only 4 minutes. Day-tickets can be purchased for 3,40€* and group tickets from 5,60€*.
